Central Okanagan Foundation
The Central Okanagan Foundation (COF), founded in 1977, is a registered community foundation of Community Foundations of Canada that pools and invests donations. The investment income is then distributed as grants to local charitable organizations. The capital is never touched and continues to grow with each new donation, generating income that will meet a wide range of community needs for years to come. Central Okanagan Foundation For Youth
Since its establishment in 2002, the Central Okanagan Foundation for Youth (COFFY) has been building an endowment fund with COF. The income generated has been and will continue to be used to support youth projects and programs of the Central Okanagan. Specifically, COFFY wishes to support projects that are youth-driven, collaborative and have a direct and beneficial impact on young people. COFFY is a result of the hard work, energy, and dedication of young people, in conjunction with the invaluable support and guidance of adults. The group actively promotes leadership and youth involvement in philanthropy regionally, nationally, and globally.
